Understanding the Most Used Leg Lifts

There are so many different leg lifts that you can do to get the results you are wanting to achieve. Read the descriptions of the most used leg lifts to discover which ones work for you.

Side Leg Lifts ~ You will want to start out laying on your right side with your left leg on top of your right leg. Make sure to tighten your core muscles, then lift your left leg up with your ankle lifting towards the ceiling then back down again releasing your core. Repeat each step in reps of 10 then switch to you left side and repeat all of the step again.

Kneeling Leg Lifts ~ First you are going to want to get on your hands and knees. Once in that position take one of the legs and make it straight with you pointed toes touching the ground. Next you are going to want to lift your leg up until straight with your back. Repeat with the other leg keeping your core nice and strong for a healthy back and core.

Laying On Your Back Single Leg Lifts ~ You are going to want to start out laying down on the floor like a board. Tighten your core and begin to slowly lift one leg to a 45 degree angle and slowly lower to floor. Next you are going to want to repeat with the other leg.

Laying On Your Back With Both Legs ~ Start out by laying on your back on the floor like you would for a single leg lift. Put the palms of your hands on the ground by your hips. Make sure to tighten your core to help support your back and lift both legs to a 45 degree angle and slowly lower to the ground.

Stomach Leg Lifts ~ You have to make sure to do this one correct or you could hurt your lower back. You are going to want to start out laying on your stomach on the floor. Tighten your stomach muscles and slowly lift your leg up to a 30 degree angle and lower back down to the floor.

Standing Side Lifts ~ Stand tall with you hands on your hips. Lift your leg to your side keeping your foot straight, not turned to the side. Repeat with the other leg.

Inner thigh Leg Lifts ~ You will want to start out laying on your side. Cross the upper leg over the other leg with your foot flat on the floor. Next you will lift your lower leg up just slightly then lower back down. You can also hold your lower leg up for a 5 second hold to get better results.

Benefits to Doing Proper Leg Lifts

If you do these exercises at least 3 to 4 times a week you will see a difference in your legs and buttocks. In doing all these different leg lifts it will also help you learn how to flatten your stomach muscles too!

One of my favorite leg lifts was the inner thigh lift. It helped tone and melt away the fat from my thighs using all of these inner thigh exercises. My legs are now lean, sexy and my confidence is through the roof!

I’ve tried lots of various workout programs and found value in most all of them actually. BUT the system I found that I’ve obtained the most positive results is from Rusty Moore’s ‘Visual Impact for Women’. Sure Rusty is a guy, and us Women know our bodies best. However getting to know him through his training I realize he’s an expert at becoming fit.

The way I stumbled upon his training is by accidentally running into a review such as this one. And I hope that you find benefit as I have. Take it from me, you will not be disappointed with the strategic methods Rusty provides in his training.
